A solar system uses solar panels to collect energy from the sun and convert this energy into electricity. This electricity can be used to run various electrical appliances within a home such as air-conditioning, lighting, TV, refrigerator, etc. Electricity generated from the solar system is fed into the home, offsetting the amount of electricity that is being drawn from the grid, and hence reducing the electricity bill at the end of the month. For systems with a battery, the electricity produced during the daytime is stored in a battery and can then be used at night.
.Solar PV convert the solar radiation to electricity
.This electricity is sent to the inverter
.The inverter transforms the DC power into AC power
.The existing electrical panel distributes the ‘solar’ electricity to power the appliances
.The battery stores electricity produced during the daytime for use during the night time
